Aurora

Aurora Aksnes (born June 15 1995, at Stavanger) is the name of a Norwegian artist and vocalist. Her debut E.P. Running with the Wolves was released by the label Decca Records in May 2015 receiving great approval by music journalists and media. She's recorded a variety of well-known cover songs, including Half the World Away (by Oasis), from the group Oasis) to accompany John Lewis' Christmas advert as well as Nature Boy (by Nat King Cole), which have been widely praised. Katy Perry posted a video where she was announcing her endorsement of Runaway. It earned her some attention. Celebrate her special birthday. Aurora Aksnes' earliest memory of music is when she discovered a grand piano that was in the attic. She was fascinated by what it could do. Parents May-Britt and Jan Oystein Aksnes encouraged her to study music, not for an occupation or pastime but as a way to develop. Thus, she began with her own music. In addition to Bjork, she cites Leonard Cohen as an influence. After her mom told her that her songs would not just help her get noticed, however, they could also help others understand their importance in the world and realize the possibilities for her songs, she decided to begin singing in public. She was suggested by her mother to sing her songs in public in order to make people aware of the importance of their work and how they can affect the world. Her family didn't know about this until she reached the age of 14. Aurora wasn't a dream. Her sole passion is to write music. According to her, she believes that music can help people feel more relaxed.
