Aryna Sabalenka
Sabalenka is Belarusian born in Minsk. Sergey was a hockey player. Aryna Sabalenka was born May 5, 1998 from Minsk Belarus. She has been able to win twelve WTA singles titles, which includes a Grand Slam in the Australian Open of 2023. As a doubles player, she's an excellent player. She's been a winner of two majors along with Elise Mertens, the US Open in 2019 and the Australian Open in 2021. In 2019, she was the winner of each of her first WTA 1000 and Miami Open in Indian Wells with her Belgian partner, completing her Sunshine Double. The feat was achieved by four couples in female doubles. The 23rd of August, 2021 was the day she climbed to the second spot on the list of world singles rankings her highest ranking was again reached in January 2023. In the same year, she was crowned in Melbourne before she was ranked number one in the world when it comes to doubles. Dmitry Tursunov (a former Russian tennis player) coached her for part of the season in 2019 as well as from the year 2018 until close of the season. Dieter Kindlmann coached her briefly between August 2020 and September. From the beginning of 2020 she's been coaching by her countryman Antonio Dubrov. Her top idols are Serena Williams and Maria Sharapova.
